By Pankaj Maru
Mumbai, Jul 15, 2008

Chennai based DeRisk IT Solutions and Achiever Business Solution (ABS), a governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) management solution provider in Europe and the UK markets have partnered to offer Achiever's business solutions to the Indian enterprise.

DeRisk IT has invested about USD 1.5 million as working capital for this venture that includes marketing, development of India specific compliance solutions, and resources. The company has become the authorized reseller for AchieverPlus solution.

On the partnership, DeRisk's CEO, S Senthil Kumaran, said, "In the first three years, we have targets to earn $ 50 million in revenues. Initially, we will focus on the BFSI, IT and ITeS sectors.DeRisk's integrity and scalability is not selling IT products but solving IT related problems."

AchieverPlus offers a single point access for GRC management, and targets areas in risk and compliance management, regulatory affairs including quality, health, safety, IT security and environment management across enterprises.

The solution is developed on Microsoft's .Net platform with Sequel server for back end support. It can be integrated with existing system as well as can be used as hosted software. The tool integrates an organization's disparate standards, policies and resources across any number of sites and locations.

According to Cherry Rance, marketing and strategic alliances manager for ABS, "In the next 2-3 years, we are targeting a 30-40% market share, which constitutes about 2000 Indian enterprises as our clients. More so, as more and more multinational companies are outsourcing services here."

As per analyst predictions, the GRC market is worth USD 2 billion, and is expected to grow 18 per cent in 2007-2011.
