Infotech and Dassault Unite for MMRCA

To facilitate the program and related activities, IFL, the global technology solutions provider and Dassault Aviation has agreed to work jointly on the MMRCA program and related activities. This is among the top strategic and largest Indian defense programs, according to a communiqu submitted to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Dassault has entered into a five year Memorandum of Understanding with Hyderabad based Infotech Enterprises Limited (IEL) for the project.
Under the MoU, Infotech will be a technology partner to the aviation company and will offer business driven solutions allied to engineering, defense related business process and IT services.
According to Infotech Enterprise's chairman and managing director, B V R Mohan Reddy, "Having completed over seven million engineering service hours on aerospace projects, Infotech has extensive knowledge in aerospace domain and offer a modular service concept that allows customers and partners such as Dassault Aviation to secure the services they need ranging from design to manufacturing stages."
Charles Edelstenne, chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation said, "This MoU would go a long way in enhancing strategic technology expertise of Dassault."
