Air India SATS Airport Services has outsourced the management of its servers, hardware, software, networks, and leased lines. AI SATS is a joint venture between National Aviation Company of India Limited(NACIL) and Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS).
Kale Consultants will supply and manage the server hardware and software to host the applications to support NACIL's operations at the new international airports in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Ranjiv Ramanathan, senior vice president of Al SATS Cargo said, "In keeping with our commitment to delivering professional services to our customers, we have sourced for a vendor who can help ensure that our server infrastructure is well managed to meet the needs of our operations and our future growth. Kale has been selected through an elaborate Request for Proposal (RFP) process."
Sumeet Nadkar, head - Logistics SBU, Kale Consultants Ltd. said, "Our vision is to be the end-to-end technology partner for organizations in the airline, logistics and travel space."
Kale's infrastructure management solution is based on hub and spoke methodology whereby the customers do not have to replicate the IT infrastructure at every new location they operate from.
