Aventail, a remote access provider, announced it's Connect Mobile for smartphones, extending Aventail's market to windows mobile smartphones, and providing users with additional productivity and security.
Aventail's connect mobile has an end point control for Windows mobile smartphones. It is part of an integrated solution for all remote access including laptops, kiosks, home computers, and windows mobile PDAs.
Its features and benefits include e-mail access, mobile roaming, access controls, and mobile end point control. The users can also click on secured links in e-mails and approve requisitions or review documents, instead of waiting to log in from a laptop. They can change networks during their sessions without having to re-authenticate or re-launch the VPN.
It gives users an in office experience enabling them to access client/server applications, and other corporate resources. It provides enhanced security with user authentication, device watermarking, device health checking, encryption, and granular access controls.
Aventail mobile for smartphones is now available in beta, and its price starts at Rs.49,000.
