  • B. G. Prasanna Krishna has been appointed as the new lab director of Torry Harris Business Solutions (THBS), a global niche technology services and solutions provider for mission-critical distributed enterprise computing and middleware.

    With over 21 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry, Prasanna brings to THBS his expertise in building practices that addresses all aspects of an IT services-based organization. These include delivery practices for large outsourcing deals, and the ensuring of optimization and continuous improvement in quality, productivity and cost, and quality framework adherence and definition.

    Ashwin Krishna, chief operating officer, THBS, said, In his role as the lab director, Prasanna is responsible for all aspects of delivery in line with THBS's quest for Customer Delight and Excellence in Services . He will be leading and supporting the ambitious growth plans of THBS and developing the Centres of Excellence to incubate and nurture niche technologies at THBS.

    Krishna will also be responsible for the quality assurance function at THBS, and will report directly to the CEO and president of the company. In his previous assignments, he held the position of enterprise-wide service area lead for portal content development, e-Commerce, and Lotus Notes at IBM Global Services India Pvt. Ltd.

    He completed his graduation from SJ College of Engineering, University of Mysore. He is an alumnus of IIT Delhi, from where he did his post-graduation.
