Benefits Realization, a new dashboard technology and real-time monitoring has been added by Fujitsu Consulting to its Macroscope Benefits Realization framework for Microsoft's Business Intelligence (BI) products.
This new enhancement is an extension of Macroscope, specially designed for Microsoft's BI program. It is designed to assist organizations in selecting and planning the most beneficial initiatives only.
The new tool extensions can monitor the real-time performance of these strategic programs while identifying the problem areas that need to be addressed for optimal performance.
According to the press release, these enhancements have been developed to harness Microsoft's productivity, management, and monitoring technologies including PerformancePoint Server 2007, Project Server, SQL Server 2005, and Microsoft Office.
Alec Blair, Microsoft practice director of Fujitsu Consulting (Canada) said, "By guiding the selection of business strategies through to their successful implementation, Benefits Realization will increase an organization's market agility, its 'time-to-execution', and overall strategic and operational management capabilities."
Business Realization evaluates initiatives on two criteria, namely benefit to meet select Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and risk of failure. These initiatives are then further filtered to reveal the benefit and lowest risk.
