Cinemax Wants an ERP

Cinemax India, the multiplex chain is in search of an ERP solution to integrate its ticketing application with operations across 33 theatres spread across Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Guwahati, Panipat and Nashik.

The chain runs its ticketing operations using the Vista Cinema software; an end-to-end solution for cinema operators developed by New Zealand based Vista Entertainment Solutions. The application generates Microsoft Excel based data sheet.

Jitendra S Mehta, CFO of Kanakia Group (promoter of the multiplex chains) said that Deloitte has already made a presentation of its ERP that is installed around Sun Microsystem servers and other hardware. "We are exploring other options as well," he said.
