Cost-effective SAAS Option for Indian SMBs
By CXOtoday Staff
Mumbai, Dec 04, 2008 1320 hrs IST

Proquest Solutions has announced a low cost SaaS solution for the small and medium business owners of India to help them cope up with the increasing cost pressure during current slow down. The solution provider is offering NetSuite's integrated ERP, CRM, and e-commerce solution starting at $6000 for a five-user pack for a limited time period. NetSuite provides on-demand, integrated business management software suites for midsize businesses which will allow cost-conscious Asian businesses to reduce their total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) for business systems. With a range of localized online products and professional services, SMBs can manage their key business operations including customer relationship management (CRM), order fulfillment, inventory, accounting and finance, product assembly, e-commerce, Web site management, and employee productivity in a single hosted system. An analyst firm forecasted that the SaaS market in Asia will reach US$1.16 billion by 2010, with a cumulative annual growth rate of 66%, to comprise 35% of the enterprise software application market. "The small and mid-size Indian business owners are faced with a tough task in this uncertain economy regarding their business automation projects. Neither they are keen to invest in large ERP installations, which require large capex expenditures; nor are they ready for 6-8 month installation time periods. There has never been a better time to adopt SaaS based solution at an affordable price point and a stronger ROI for them," said, Biswas Nair, MD of Proquest Solutions.
