A Delhi based company -- Trio Sports Wear India, the Indian joint venture company of Montreal, Canada-based fashion and lifestyle house -- Trio Inc. will enhance its customer relationship management software in 2009. The company also wants to implement basic ERP software toward end of next year.
According to Pradeepp Arora, CEO Trio Sports Wear, "As of today, we have five stand alone stores for Groggy and have exclusive tie-ups with West End store. We have expansion plans for next year that includes the launch of a second Trio brand in India. Plans are afoot to introduce Cream Soda or President Stone."
Some of the other apparel brands from the company include Orange County, Nascar, Night Angels, Covet. The two companies will invest close to $2.5 million in the next three years to propel the growth of the brands in India. "Besides, we want to increase the number of stand alone Groggy stores to eight, and open more doors in Westside."
The company is currently focusing on its customer relations and is using its CRM application on the Bazaar software for the same. "We recently launched the privilege card. We chose the customers based on the information automatically transported into our database. More such customer centric initiatives are on cards."
Arora said he did not deploy an ERP solution in the last one year since the company first wanted to evaluate software for its business need. "We did evaluate other software such as Shopper, etc. We found Bazaar to be more retail-oriented, plus it supports our need for logistics support. Our strong backend handled by the internal IT team keeps a tab on product movement right from the time it is barcoded at the inventory till it is sold."
Asked about the ERP he said, "We will have to work on the modules first." Will it will be integrated with Bazaar? "That decision will also be taken at that stage."
