  • Bangalore-based Elogic Technologies and N.J.-based SQN Banking Systems have joined hands to develop an integrated software management system with fraud detection tools. Adding to the security measures of the Indian financial institutions the solution is expected to trim down the overall number of scams taking place in the sector.

SQN's fraud detection products and services will apparently complement Elogic's E-Security division, which offers security in the area of Mobile Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Mobile PKI is a key technology that enables account holders to conduct banking transactions through their mobile phones safely and securely.

"Elogic and SQN have combined resources to assist financial institutions in their efforts to quickly detect and prevent bank fraud," said Stan Jaslar, CTO of SQN admitting the fact that fraud is an industry problem worldwide.

"Our strategic alliance with SQN to deliver global support on a 24/7 basis is a value addition for our mutual customers across the world," said TD Prakash, MD of Elogic Technologies.
