Experts to Discuss Evolving Domestic Market

The India Semiconductor Association (ISA), a trade body of Indian semiconductor driven industry has planned Vision Summit 2008 -- a business leadership conference for leaders in this region. The trade body is formed of 130 members.

The theme for this year's summit is on the evolving domestic market, which is the growth driver for the Indian electronics industry. The senior executives from India and other countries will participate in this event. It's scheduled for February 18 and 19, 2008 at The Leela Palace, Bangalore.

The event will features global speakers and business leaders including, Azim Premji, Chairman Wipro; Dr Chi-Foon Chan, president and COO Synopsys; Malcolm Penn, chief executive officer of Future Horizons; Ashok Soota, chairman and CEO of Mindtree Consulting; Stanley Myers, president and CEO of SEMI; Gopal Srinivasan, director of TVS Electronics; and others.

"This summit will be an ideal platform to interact, network, and plan for the future. We are already seeing good response for Vision Summit 2008," said Poornima Shenoy, president of ISA.

Vision Summit's highlight will include sessions addressing focused verticals like telecom, IT and office automation, networking platforms, one-on-one meetings, focused and group discussions, etc.
