Honeywell's Building Management System

Honeywell Building Solutions has launched its new generation of Integrated Building Management Systems that comprises of building automation, security and fire products.

The launch will be backed up by events in Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Mumbai, India. The events highlight the need for world-class intelligent and smart facilities that provide a comfortable, safe and secure environment.

The events will feature Honeywell products that include the Enterprise Building Integrator (EBI R310), Digital Video Manager R 200, Comfort Point Open and TEMALINE.

EBI R310 has features such as Web Browser System Access, BACnet and LON enhancements and integration with Heating Ventilation Air Control (HVAC) Environmental Control, Fire, Access Control, Security, Video Surveillance, Energy and other building subsystems.

The Digital Video Manager R 200 is the latest CCTV surveillance system. It has features such as support for new video streamers and IP cameras including MPEG-4 support, Advanced Video Processing System (AVPS) and compatibility with existing cameras and analogue switchers, for cost effective migration and advanced video processing by video analytic.

Comfort Point Open, the building automation controller, is packed with features like native BACnet solution, 32-bit processors, fully programmable plant and unitary controllers. It offers built-in networking and controller busses, with additional I/O that are fully programmable.

TEMA is the access control system which has features like multi-functional systems and multi-applications, web reception management with LDAP authentication, smart card support, capability to manage up to 64 bit card numbers and TEMA intrusion detection system capabilities. It can manage multiple sites and can support special security applications and enterprise integration to systems like SAP, time and attendance solutions, fully integrated into EBIR310.
