  • In a bid to increase online visibility, Indian Institute of Learning and Management (IILM), a New Delhi-based education institution with three state-of-the-art campuses in the region, has outsourced its online marketing programme.

IILM has given the project to Techmagnate, a search engine optimisation (SEO) services company. Sarvesh Bagla, CEO, Techmagnate, said," With an optimal mix of various Internet marketing tools, we hope to propel IILM to the top of search engine rankings like we have done for our other clients."

The marketing plan for IILM includes a complete website redesign to make it more attractive to users and also search engine-friendly. SEO and pay-per-click campaign management will also add to IILM s online presence.

Said Bagla, "Internet marketing is of immense value to the education sector. Most students, when deciding which college and programme to take up, do their research on the Internet. Showing up in top search-engine results helps educational institutions to be noticed and enhances the premium of their brand."

According to Bagla, in India alone there are 900,000 searches per month for engineering colleges.

"Moreover, working with an SEO company is inexpensive when compared to other media and yields higher returns on investment," he said, adding clients like IILM have seen the value in digital marketing and have made it a significant part of their branding strategy.
