IPS Appoints Vijay Srinivasan as MD, India

Invensys Process Systems (IPS), announced the appointment of Vijay Srinivasan as new MD for India Subcontinent region.
Srinivasan will be responsible for spearheading the entire operations of IPS in India, overseeing the company's growth and expansion in the region. His business leadership in multi-national technology companies in the Asia Pacific region and his more than two decades of experience in technology-enabled businesses in India will be instrumental in expanding IPS' presence in India and further strengthening the company's leadership across key industry verticals, said the company release.
Srinivasan has worked with premier organizations like Bharti Airtel, Thomson/U21Global, IBM, Ariba and Wipro. Prior to this assignment, Vijay served as COO- Enterprise Services, Western Region, Bharti Airtel.
Lawrence Wee, president of Asia Pacific for IPS, said, "India is on a high-growth trajectory with significant new investments in core sectors, and we hope to strengthen our position with Vijay on board."
"IPS is a significant player in automation, control, performance and optimization of core process industries, and we hope to enhance our market position with our leading-edge technologies, products and solutions in the coming years", said Srinivasan.
