ISA Appoints Executive Council for 2008-09

The India Semiconductor Association (ISA), the trade body representing the Indian semiconductor driven industry, has announced the appointment of their new executive council for the year 2008 - 09. The post of the chairman will be held by Jaswinder Ahuja, vice president and managing director, Cadence Design Systems. B.V. Naidu, managing director of SemIndia Systems will be the vice-chairman.

The other executive council members are Pradip Dutta of Synopsys India, Sham Banerji of Texas Instruments, Vivek Sharma of ST Microelectronics, Satya Gupta of Open-Silicon Research, Rajeev Mehtani of NXP Semiconductors, Sunit Tyagi of Intel Technologies, Ganesh Guruswamy of Freescale Semiconductor, and S Janakiraman president and CEO of MindTree.
