The package is a robust, scalable solution with lowest cost of transaction' and would also be able to sustain a large number of transactions even during peak trading hours.

Large organizations such as Bombay Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, Paris Stock Exchange, Leighman and James, Morgan & Stanley, HDFC Bank, SBI, ABN Amro among others are currently using non stop servers.

TradeAnywhere provides all systems and facilities for an intermediary/broker for successfully carrying out online trading. It provides web trading front end (broker can avail the option of content), order routing and risk management engine and surveillance.

It has features such as integrated risk management and order routing engine for cash and derivative trading, online streaming quotes provided on both the browser and the desktop version. The desktop version provides sophisticated analytical tools for charting and querying on the real time data. Risk management features control customer exposures at the security level. Its Span Margining manages risks on derivative portfolios of the end customer, security to ensure information privacy, ease to integrate with existing back office system, integrated asset management system to execute delivery based trades, providing margins against shares and offering other products such as Buy Today, Sell Tomorrow without putting your position at risk. It can also be easily integrated with online depository systems and payment gateways.

Sanjay Padode, managing director, Asian says, "The solution is highly scalable and can be used to handle more than 100,000 transactions a day provided the hardware is sized rightly. The entry-level solution can be deployed on a single server and on a DSL line to the Internet thus ensuring that you spend only as your business grows."

Adds Ghose, "The solutions offer linear scalability and have self management and self healing aspects. Brokerages will be alerted about problems in advance via modem calls.
