Infotech Enterprises (IEL), a technology solutions provider with global headquarters at Hyderabad, has announced the appointment of Professor J Ramachandran as additional director on the board.
Ramachandran is BOC chair professor of business policy at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. A qualified chartered and cost accountant, he obtained his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His major research interest is in the area of internationalisation of firms from emerging economies. A former member of the board of governors of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Ramachandran has been the Harry Reynolds Visiting International professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; and a visiting professor at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France and the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, USA.
The wisdom gained out of his vast experience would be of immense value in guiding Infotech through its growth in the near future, said B V R Mohan Reddy, chairman and managing director of Infotech Enterprises.
