Virtual Netcomm Pvt Ltd, the Ahmedabad-based distributor of Blue Coat Systems, has announced that Irevna Research Services Ltd, an offshore market research firm and subsidiary of McGraw Hill- based in India, has selected Blue Coat SG security appliances to protect users and control Internet applications.
The company has plans to deploy two SG800 appliances, both of which will be acting as Internet gateways.
Apart from the standard functionality available on the devices, Irevna has also decided to include SSL VPN and web surfing modules, which can be integrated with the base appliance using interface cards.
