GlobalLogic, a provider of product development services and Mobikon, a provider of innovative mobile solutions have launched Mobikon 'Konekt'. Konekt is a GPRS-based application and has been developed by GlobalLogic.
'Konekt', Mobikon's service platform, enables businesses to sell their services and products to consumers through mobile phone sets and PDAs. With the launch of this unique product, business service providers such as rent-a-car; air/rail/bus ticketing, shopping items such as the purchase of flowers, books and gifts, entertainment/movie ticketing and restaurant services such as ordering food or reservations, would be a simple touch away.
The application platform is integrated with Location-based Data (LBS), and its capabilities include acquisition of customer feedback and systematic 'push' offers on new product launches.
