Lodha Group Outsources Business Transformation

It has awarded the project to Wipro Infotech. A press release said that the project valued at Rs 132 crore has been outsourced for ten years.

Lodha Group with a land bank of over 6000 acres is currently developing multiple projects in and around Mumbai and is also developing its footprint in other southern and western markets. With its focus on office development, campuses, SEZs and townships the group has embarked on a growth path to consolidate its position in the real estate market. The company intends to leverage IT to keep pace with the growth and emerge as a customer centric organization, the release said.

To realize this vision, Wipro will make the group efficient and employ best practices to for its IT functions. The services will enable the developer to respond to changing business scenarios, the release said.


Abhisheck Lodha, director, Lodha Group said, "We have been on an aggressive growth path and we are excited about this partnership which will transform all our technology systems and processes to keep pace with our growth. This partnership will strengthen our approach of being a more customer focused organization".

Anand Sankaran, chief executive, Wipro Infotech said, "To keep pace with the remarkable growth that the real estate sector in India is seeing, an organization needs to be agile and innovative and IT has been proven to be a key enabler in achieving this."
