McAfee Welcomes Pimentel to Exec Crew

McAfee have appointed Albert Pimentel as COO and CFO. The appointment will come into effect from May 15, 2008. He will be responsible for leading all worldwide finance, IT, facilities, and manufacturing functions, reporting directly to CEO and president, Dave DeWalt.
Pimentel is an industry veteran with around 30 years of change management experience with small, medium, and large companies, having most recently served as the executive vice president and CFO of Glu Mobile. Before Glu Mobile, Pimentel served as executive vice president and CFO at Zone Labs, where he oversaw the company's successful negotiation and merger with Check Point Software.
Pimentel also held the positions of senior vice president and CFO of WebTV Networks, which was acquired by Microsoft in 1997.
Pimentel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce from Santa Clara University and is a graduate of the executive MBA program at Stanford.
