Mfar, a Bangalore based construction company, is a part of the Rs 34,000 crore GALFAR Group, with presence in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata. It currently manages forty eight construction projects across India.
Mfar was looking for an ERP solution that can resolve issues relating to their financial functions, pay roll and other manual transactions. Mfar awarded Sobha Renaissance Information Technology (SRIT), a Bangalore-based IT company, the ERP implementation project after analyzing seventeen other established ERP solution providers in the market.
R-Construct addresses all the financial, departmental, compliance and operational requirements of a construction firm. This enables optimal process integration and provides seamless collaboration between the various functions of a construction enterprise. R-Construct is planned to be implemented in Bangalore (Head) office of Mfar Constructions, which connects all its regional and project site offices across India.
Mohammed Suhail Gamidi, general manager of Mfar Constructions says, "R-Construct addresses most of the challenges faced by developers in the construction vertical. We, being a contractor in the construction business, needed few modifications and enhancements in the ERP solution. Tracking of P&M, inventory at sites, budget Vs actual at each site has become a major problem. These problems should be resolved once R-Construct is implemented."
R-Construct also provides business process re-engineering & business process outsourcing services.
Rajesh Ponnan, SBU Head, Construction Solutions, SRIT says, "We are combining ERP Software and Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) services, which delivers better benefits than just automation. Going a step ahead, we're planning Business Transformation Services (BTS) project for one of our clients."
