Mistral Announces Video Access 2.0

Mistral Solutions, a leading provider of technology solutions and professional services in the embedded space, has announced the availability of Video Access 2.0, the mobile and IP video application toolkit from NMS Communications.

Video Access is a platform for meeting the ever-increasing demand for flexible, scalable, and cost-effective mobile and IP video solutions. The software is a foundation for wide range of powerful applications including 3G-324M-to-SIP video gateways, IP video media adaptation servers, video conferencing, wireless video messaging and streaming servers. New video solutions can be implemented using Video Access APIs within the Natural Access development environment.

Video Access is a part of the Open Access framework and adds new dimension to the creation of innovative high-value mobile applications.

The software is based on 3G-324M video standard and offers a complete mobile video development environment proven through IMTC interoperability testing. 3G-324M is the multimedia protocol of choice for operators to deliver conversational voice and video services to their customers and forms an important cornerstone of new 3G services.
