Mobile users in India can now have a delightful Web browsing experience with Opera Mini in Tata's BREW-enabled handsets.
Tata Teleservives has joined hands with Opera Software to provide this service.
The browser will be made available first on the Huawei C2900i, a BREW-enabled handset.
Research studies conducted by Gartner have confirmed that India's mobile phone market is set for a period of rapid growth, with revenue from cellular services expected to jump by more than 18% year on year for the next 5 years.
Opera Mini will complement this growth by providing users with access to the Web, enabling them to surf their favorite websites, enjoy mobile blogging, and social networking -- all on the go. It'll also support local language websites such as BBC Hindi, Dainik Bhaskar, and others.
In addition to bringing Web content to everyday mobile phones, Opera Mini includes bookmarks, secure access to e-mail, and online banking.

I purchase the datacable of c2900i but when we connect it to the internet through PC, eventhough we browse the net it is charging rs.2/ mb, when we open a site the depending on the size of the site it is considering as download the charges are high when we compare with others
