Mohit Anand Joins Belkin as Country Manager

Belkin Asia Pacific Limited, a provider of connectivity solutions, has announced the appointment of Mohit Anand, as its India country manager with immediate effect. Based in Delhi, Mohit joins the company from Channel [v] for Star India Pvt. Ltd. and is charged with leading Belkin's strategy and business in India.

Prior to that he was in Microsoft. At Microsoft, Anand was responsible for the company's entertainment and devices division in India. He has been credited with leading the Microsoft hardware and interactive entertainment business, including the launch of Xbox 360, in the Indian sub-continent.

Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked with Iris Computers, Tangerine Informatique, and Dave Thomson Associates. Mohit holds a Bachelors Degree in Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management.

His (Ananad's) charter at the outset is to enhance visibility for the Belkin brand, increase consumer touch and experience across product lines, streamline and motivate distribution channels, and to overall increase the company s market share in the rapidly growing CE and IT market in India," said Eric Tong, SVP of Belkin Asia Pacific
