Network backup solution is made available to small businesses with the introduction of ZyXEL NSA-2400. The solution is provided by ZyXEL Communications Corporation - a provider of networking and information security product manufacturing company.
The new product covers the most common backup strategies used by enterprises that include - desktop/laptop client backup, Microsoft SQL/Exchange server backup, as well as NSA-to-NSA and NSA-to-external USB disk backup. This allows users to perform platform-independent management through an intuitive, full-featured, and browser-based graphical user interface with limited IT support. It'll enable businesses to increase their productivity and efficiency in daily operations. The solution removes bottlenecks from file sharing, backup, and data protection operations even in traffic heavy environments.
This product also offers 4 tiers of data protection. With first-tier enterprise-class backup solution, users can duplicate mission-critical data on PCs and servers to the NSA-2400, following a pre-defined schedule to prepare for any disaster. Safeguarded by tier-2 RAID and tier-3 Snapshot technologies, data stored on the NSA-2400 can be protected and instantly rolled back to any specific point of time when necessary. Tier-4 system backup to NSA-2400 on the network or external hard drives through USB 2.0 interface forms the last defense for valuable business data, which reduces both planned and unplanned downtime while maximizing data availability.
