Comverse, a communication and billing services provider, has released the Comverse ONE billing and active customer management solution. The company claims this is the industry's only customer care and billing solution built around a single data model and a single product catalog, which allows seamless and efficient support for multi-service and payment convergence through a single system.
Comverse believes this approach will give operators the ability to use one system to manage all subscribers consistently, regardless of payment or service type, while accelerating the launch of new offers and promotions.
The solution can be deployed in a variety of ways according to the operator's needs. It supports pure-play prepaid, pure-play postpaid, or hybrid prepaid/postpaid. Operators can use it to support different types of subscribers with real-time credit control.
