TAKE Solutions has launched a new range of pharmacovigilance solutions for the APAC market in collaboration with BaseCon. Pharmacovigilance is the pharmacological science relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects, particularly long term and short term side effects of medicines.
This range of drug safety surveillance solutions are offered via a web-based, hosted, platform. The solution features a pharmacovigilance system, electronic reporting, fully integrated product register, meddra browser and search tool, migration of drug safety data, flexible and a free-text search tool.
In related news, DesignTech Systems, a healthcare and PLM solutions provider, has introduced a range of healthcare solutions for small-to-large hospitals. The company has launched the Asclepius Clinic software for consulting doctors and medical practitioners, and it will be available in early 2009.
It works on any laptop or desktop and handles functions like management of queues, patient data base, bills, and tracking the treatment for patients. The product will be rolled out all over India and abroad by first quarter of 2009, said company's press statement.
