Informatica - a provider of data integration software - has entered into an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) relationship with SAP AG - a provider of business software - to integrate and track data effectively.
According to the agreement, SAP will embed Informatica's PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and Metadata Manager software into its performance management and analytic applications. It also includes SAP NetWeaver platform for master data management and business intelligence. This will enable customers to integrate and track data from non-SAP, third-party, and legacy systems.
The relationship aims at allowing customers to access Informatica's software, which will connect their business data to their SAP business applications.
