Qualcomm appoints Bimayal Dayal

Qualcomm has appointed Bimayat Dayal as the vice president and country manager for India and South Asia. His responsibility will include business development and marketing operations for the region
Dayal will drive the adoption of Qualcomm technologies and solutions such as 3G (WCDMA/HSPA, CDMA2000/EVDO), connected computing, and its other location-based services.
He has over 20 years of international sales and business development experience, and prior to joining Qualcomm he was VP and key account manager at Ericsson, responsible for positioning Ericsson's entire portfolio of products and services for Bharti Airtel.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree specializing in electronics and telecommunication from Delhi College of Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Law from Delhi University.
