CA has announced the appointment of IT and telecom veteran Ratan Sanjay to the post of director for communications service providers (CSP), covering India and SAARC region.
Ratan will formulate and execute a go-to-market strategy to address the rapidly-growing telecoms and CSP industry. At the same time, he will develop solutions by tapping the considerable expertise held by CA s relationships with premier systems integrators.
During his long career, Ratan supported a significant proportion of IBM s services and software license business growth by formulating strategies and providing SME leadership to pursue significant telecoms opportunities. He built and nurtured a CSP practice within partner communities, as well as developing skills and providing mentoring to the benefit of pre and post-sales phases of various projects.

Ratan holds some 20 years experience, having played a multitude of leadership roles in the fields of technical services, program management, consulting and business development."
Joining CA from IBM Tivoli Software, which he served as Asia Pacific service assurance practice leader, Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune.
