Sage Software has announced the latest version of Sage CRM version 5.8, which claims to offer sales, marketing and customer support automation for small and mid-sized businesses.
Version 5.8 expands Sage CRM traditions for deployment, feature-easy configuration and data integration for introduction of end-user dashboard options, improved data management capabilities as well as extended system administration features.
According to the company, this is the only CRM solution which allows organizations to choose an on-demand or on-premises deployment. It also provides an ability to migrate between them in order to accommodate an organization's changing business needs and IT resource constraints.
"Our customers have the freedom to choose the Sage CRM Solution that is right for their growth model, workflow and budget," explained Thomas Abraham, Sr. VP & GM, Sage Software Mid-Market CRM. Enhanced Sage CRM dashboard capabilities would allow users to create custom dashboards that contain the information relevant to their daily workflow.
These dashboards include a variety of data components such as favorite reports, embedded charts with drill-down capabilities, saved data searches, customer snapshots, lists of hot leads, high priority customer support issues and more. Users can create multiple dashboards which track metrics and key performance indicators, which provide visibility that they need to improve their sales, marketing or customer care operations.
Enhanced Sage CRM data management capabilities include improved data imports and conversion, report organization and list management. The contact import feature would be designed to better support businesses that market and sell to end consumers.
The enhanced lead-to-opportunity conversion capability retains all historical communications for improved data tracking. Report management would include custom report categories for better report organization and easier information sharing. Users can group frequently used reports in a 'My Favorite Reports' category or access reports directly from a personal dashboard.
Other salient features include enhanced Sage CRM system administration capabilities that include new default templates that allow system administrators to quickly create user profiles from existing baseline security and role-based settings, monitoring features that allow managers to measure system usage at team or individual user levels. Usage reports include historical session duration, user activity, access methods and more. Sage CRM is available for $595 per user for on-premises licensing and $69 per user per month for on-demand SageCRM.com deployment.
