Aricent has appointed Sanjay Dhawan as president and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dhawan has more than 23 years of experience in the communications technology industry.
Since joining Aricent as chief strategy officer in 2006, he has overseen several business units and delivered record-breaking financial results. In this new role, Dhawan will steer the company's multiple business units, sales organization, strategic business initiatives, and numerous corporate functions.
"Dhawan's proven leadership skills, endless energy, and complete commitment to the company have been inspirational to everyone around him since he joined the company in 2006," said Ash Bhardwaj, CEO of Aricent.
"I'm delighted to take on this new role at Aricent and am positive that with the continued support of clients, employees and partners, the company will reach even greater heights," said Dhawan.
Dhawan holds an MSc degree in electrical engineering from Brunel University, England; and a BSc degree in electronics and communications from REC Kurukshetra, India.
