Spencer's Farms out IT Infra Management

Spencer's Retail Limited, a part of the Rs 13,500 crore RPG Enterprises, has outsourced its infrastructure management services for five years.

Spencer's is a multi-format food first retailer that provides a wide range and assortment of products to its key customer segment in the age group of 25-34.

The company has selected Wipro for the project. According to the deal, Wipro will provide IT infrastructure to support all the stores, distribution centers, regional and zonal offices, apart from supporting future store roll-outs.

Wipro will leverage its state-of-the-art global service management centre, Mysore to provide real time information through dashboards making the entire delivery process proactive for Spencer's.

This IT service delivery transformation will benefit Spencer's with cost efficiencies, enhance IT system availability and streamline the IT delivery process.

Amit Mukherjee, chief information officer, RPG Enterprises, said, "We are confident that this partnership will be highly rewarding."
