U.S.-based SpikeSource, a provider of business-ready solutions, has set up a new, state-of-the-art facility at Chennai to support the company's growth and expansion plans. The Chennai office is SpikeSource's second facility in India, the first being located at Bangalore.
The new facility will house engineering, support, and business professionals.
"Spurred by significant growth in our business and expanding strategic partnerships, SpikeSource is actively recruiting in India", said Ramesh Shastri, managing director of SpikeSource India.
SpikeSource enables software vendors and solutions providers to deliver and support business-ready enterprise applications that leverage open source middleware and application software. SpikeSource partners with technology leaders to deliver these applications globally.
Outlining the company's expansion plans, Prem Kumar, senior vice president (engineering) of SpikeSource said, "The Chennai facility, along with the Bangalore center, will house the core development team working together with the company's Silicon Valley engineers as one global development team."
