Sundaram Fastners Upgrades PMF

The upgrade will enable the company to move from SAP 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0 faster. Its primary task is to assess the existing SAP environment, generate reports on change management and provide impact analysis prior to the upgrade.

TVS Infotech has done the upgradation.

S Srinivasan, senior GM - business strategy & systems for Sundaram Fasteners Ltd said, "TVSI's carefully planned approach and strategy, along with the high quality of resources engaged by them in the project, mitigated our risks and gave us the confidence to undertake this strategic initiative and ensure it was a success."

The accelerator tool, after analysing the changes/modifications done in source release, generates reports on usage of obsolete functions/ user exits, custom developed programs and impact analysis in SAP ECC 6.0, according to a press release. With the help of upgrade accelerator tool, TVS Infotech ensures minimal production downtime and business continuity, it said.
