Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has announced Tally Application Platform (TAP) - a complete, open and flexible architecture that enables the development of agile and scalable business applications.
Using TAP, ISVs can use this platform to develop 'customer' and 'industry' specific solutions. Besides enabling third party solution integration using Applinks, it affords customization of Tally software products and their integration with other products such as Tally Retail and in-house developed applications.
It can also facilitate deployment strategies as per environment (multiple head offices and remote branch offices), besides allowing for integration of Tally software products with existing third party/ custom built applications.
It also offers benefits such as inbuilt fault tolerance, database portability, dynamic classification (unlimited) and reclassification, interoperability, multi-dimension (unlimited) reporting, and concurrent multi-lingual capability, according to the company.
Tally 8.1 - the recently launched accounting and inventory management software, TallyPayroll and upcoming TallyAscent ERP are built on this platform.
"This platform is designed to provide high data integrity, data portability, scalability, high speed memory management and agility in an Occasionally Connected Environment (OCE) having infrastructure constraints. The strategy of Tally is focused on rapidly delivering solutions, providing key benefits of ease of use and high return on investment," said Bharat Goenka, MD, Tally Solutions.
