  • Tulip IT Services has appointed top three executives from Cisco India.

The trio- Sudhir Narang, former VP, India and SAARC, Kiran Bajwanhas and Dinesh Verma former heads of the government and service provider, business have joined Cisco.

Narang has taken over as CEO, Bajwanhas, president- sales & marketing, and Dinesh Verma as president- business development.

Narang, said, "I have spent 19 years in the telecom industry. I feel that data and network services are poised for a major growth, and a company like Tulip will be the driving force."

"Sudhir is an industry veteran and we needed someone of his stature to take the company to its next round of growth. We are looking at becoming the trusted data provider both for equipment and bandwidth in India," added HS Bedi, founder, Tulip.

"The market is currently divided among two kinds of players. There are bandwidth companies like Bharti and Tata at one end, and there are pure play equipment sales companies at the other. The customer wants one service provider, who can provide both bandwidth and network. Tulip aims to do both," concluded Narang.

This is a highly desired and much awaited move that would take Tulip to new heights with the focus on Government and Service Provider segment.

I've been knowing and having close relationships with Tulip for almost 10 years and have seen their rise, drastic fall and now again spectacular rise where very few organisations reach. I wish all the best to Tulip and Col. Bedi for his amazing business sense and achievements.
