Uniworld Logistics, a logistics service provider has selected Agile Labs as its technology partner.
The contract will include:
* Rolling out the Enterprise application - called Logops- to their offices in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong
* Extending the enterprise application to the premium partners across five countries. Building customer portal for order management and online shipment tracking
* Corporate reporting
Uniworld Logistics has been a successful organization since its inception in 2001 and has presence across the world. The company has been fortifying strategic alliances, acquiring new businesses and adapting diversified management systems to keep up with the dynamic global markets.
"We place high importance on the use of IT and this has made us very choosy in our technology partner. We are confident that the continuation of our association means faster growth based on a secure technology platform," said Premkumar, managing director of Uniworld Logistics.
He also added, "What should be emphasized here is not just that the Agile process engine is good but that it has so much more advantage than the run-of-the-mill enterprise applications being used everywhere else. For one, they are doing this in a span of one year, which would otherwise have taken four years and the cost is also one fourth of what we would have spent for any other traditional technology."
Raghunathan Perumal, CEO of Agile Labs said, "The new contract reinforces our faith on our technology and the value it adds to our customers' business. It certainly gives us a huge amount of energy to play bigger games in the enterprise application space. We will use our innovative technology to differentiate our customers from their competitors thereby making them win in their business."
