Updated BI Tool on the Cards

Bangalore-based IDS Software, a firm specializing in hospitality industry solutions, is going to introduce an updated version of its BI tool, Fortune Analytix 2. This updated version will be launched in a phased manner in the market. The new version will have new features in addition to the features of the earlier version. Giving more insights, Vissal Mathew, director of IDS Software, said, "During phase one we will be launching a web-based solution. This new version will be developed on latest Microsoft.NET v3.5 framework." It will be multi-property enabled for consolidation at a central level and will have centralized MIS for single and multi-property implementations. The web version will be available by May end A PDA version is also on the cards and expected to be launched in early August. It will feature an on demand reporting engine. IDS also plans to introduce version 2 of Fortune iBooking which will constitute more of corporate, travel agent, and sales login, where as Fortune Care Version 2 will have self service option for departments with guest history database link.
