CIO Klub Gears Up For ‘IT Awards 2017’
One of India’s leading CIO forum- ‘CIO Klub’ is gearing up for its annual awards ceremony. The forum concluded their pre-jury meet recently and the jury meet is scheduled on 24th April 2017. The jury will finalize the winners and the names will be announced during the awards ceremony of ‘IT Awards 2017’ slated to happen in Pune on April 29, 2017.
According to the association, the awards are aimed at identifying and promoting CIOs using technology to build enterprise excellence and demonstrated leadership. who have set examples by – Evolving in the dynamic world of IT, innovatively delivered business values and created competitive advantage.
The same day, the association will release a report titled, “9th Year Enterprise Technology Trend and Investment trend”, a survey done jointly by EY and CIO KLUB. The findings of the survey over the previous years have highlighted how CIO priorities have changed in response to the fluctuating economic scenario globally and in India.
The Pre-Jury members list consists of some key names including Sanjeev Kumar, Director, ApON India; Sundarrajan LN - Co-founder Director at Tune’em; Suneel Aradhye, Management Consultant, Co-Founder, Ex CIO; Sunil Purushotham, Founder at Data Voice Solutions and Sunil Rawlani, Founding Partner at MetamorphosYs.
The final list of jury members include Lalit Kanodia - Chairman at Datamatics Global Services Limited, Rishi Aurora - Managing Director, Financial Services at Accenture in India, Umar Ali Shaikh - Vice President – Infrastructure & Data Management (IDM) – India and Head – Technology Transformation Services (TTS) – Asia Pacific, Devendra Parulekar - Co-founder, Chief Growth Hacker - SaffronStays.com, Pradeep Pendse, Dean IT/ E-business/ Business Design and Innovation Welingkar Institute of Management , Arvind Tawade - Ex senior business and IT professional at Mahindra & Mahindra and Nitin Kothavale - Director, Product Engineering and Services at Sungard Availability Services, India.
The jury selects the CIO in various categories based on their industry verticals, Capital Market and Mutual Funds, FMCG , Food and Agriculture Products, Infrastructure, Real estate and Hospitality, Industrial Products and Healthcare Services, Automotive & Auto components, Media & Entertainment, PSU/Government/Local Bodies, Transport & Logistics, Technology - IT/ITES - BPO/VAS, Banking and the last category is insurance.
CIOs from various companies representing different industry verticals are likely to be present at the event.
