GoDaddy Brings Microsoft Office 365 To SMBs
GoDaddy and Microsoft has announced a long-term strategic partnership to offer Microsoft Office 365 from GoDaddy as its exclusive core business-class email and productivity service for small businesses in India. Through this partnership, GoDaddy will provide small businesses with seamless access to professional email integrated with their domain name, up to one terabyte cloud storage, unlimited web conferencing and the latest versions of the Microsoft Office suite. Users will also have access to GoDaddy’s world-class 24/7 customer care, and a simple, one step process for connecting their domain to their Office 365 account, helping them save valuable time.
“GoDaddy is focused on providing a comprehensive range of affordable best-in-class solutions to help small business owners in India establish their online presence and run their businesses more effectively and efficiently,” said GoDaddy India, Vice President and Managing Director, Rajiv Sodhi. “A professional online identity is critical in today’s competitive business environment. We are excited to partner with Microsoft to bring this Office 365 offering to Indian small businesses that will help fulfill this need.”
As part of the agreement, Microsoft has created a unique domain-based email and storage offering to cater to GoDaddy’s small business customers. GoDaddy customers have a choice between three Office 365 plans starting from as low as Rs. 149 per month. The available plans – Email Essentials, Business Essentials and Productivity Plus – are tiered with the varying needs and requirements of small businesses in mind.
“India’s millions of small and medium businesses hold the key to the growth of the economy. Our partnership with GoDaddy provides SMBs with the IT platform needed to improve their top and bottom lines though greater collaboration, customer reach, and business insight,” said Mr. Meetul Patel, General Manager, SMS&P, Microsoft India. “With Office 365, SMBs have access to scalable, reliable, and secure solutions to improve productivity. Small business owners in India can now access tools that were traditionally available and affordable only to larger enterprises.”
Office 365 offers business-class email, shared calendars, instant messaging, online conferencing and access to the most up-to-date documents. These capabilities are delivered as a cloud service available to users wherever they are, online or offline and across a variety of devices, offering access to the most up-to-date versions of the files and tools they need to get things done. Unlike some offerings designed for consumers or small businesses, Office 365 includes built-in security features that help deflect malware, spam, phishing attacks and other threats.
