Intura Inks Pact with Futuristic
Point-of-sale (POS) and business management software solutions, provider for the food service and restaurant industry, Intura solutions has signed up Gurgaon based Futuristic Info Solution Pvt. Ltd. as its national distributor in India.
As per the agreement, Futuristic will supply Intura Vision and Intura Enterprise software products to local customers. It will also offer services including deployment, installation, training, and post sales support.
Commenting on the announcement, Gary W. Peek II, President, Intura said, “Intura’s commitment to bringing Intura Vision and Intura Enterprise to the global marketplace is demonstrated by our strategic partnership with Futuristic as a distributor for Intura’s software in India.We are confident that they are well positioned to market, implement and support Intura’s products throughout the region.”
Intura Vision is a feature-rich POS and restaurant management system that offers capabilities including inventory management, customer relationship marketing, delivery operations, and kitchen display and reporting. Single unit restaurants as well as multi-unit joints can find use for the solution to facilitate various operational tasks.
Intura Enterprise on the other hand is a web enabled software suite more apt for multi-unit operators. It offers a corporate communications portal and data warehouse for centralized reporting, and management of restaurant operations.
Asheesh Vashisht, managing director of Futuristic elucidated, “The food services industry in India is experiencing tremendous growth and is poised to emerge as a major market segment in the coming years. Given the competitive nature of the industry, faster and superior customer service experience will be the main differentiators. This is where operational and management software tools such as Intura Vision and Enterprise will play key roles and give their users an edge over the competition.”
Though there aren’t too many local Intura customers yet, Futuristic intends to adopt aggressive go-to-market strategies in coming months. It will even look at single unit restaurant and food joints as potential customers, said Vashisht.
Futuristic recently completed the implementation of Intura Vision across more than 120 Domino’s Pizza outlets throughout India.
