LinkedIn's Most Viewed CEOs In India
LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network recently announced the third edition of the Power Profiles campaign in India. The list indicates the most viewed CEOs on LinkedIn in India for 2016. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with over 1 million followers on LinkedIn, is found once again amongst the most-viewed CEOs in the country. Apart from the CEOs, a list of the 48 most viewed profiles on LinkedIn in India, Power Profiles 2016 includes professionals and entrepreneurs from industries such as Technology, Finance, Internet, Human Resources, Marketing and Advertising and others.
Amongst the top viewed CEOs in the country, Kunal Bahl, CEO, Snapdeal falls behind the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the list also features two women CEOs - Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, CMD, Biocon Limited ranked 3rd and Rekha M. Menon, Chairman- Accenture in India ranked at number 7. The other CEOs who featured in the list include, Santosh Desai, MD and CEO, Futurebrands, Anil, Sardana, CEO & Managing Director at Tata Power, M.S, Unnikrishnan, Managing Director and CEO at Thermax and Anant Gupta, President and CEO HCL Technologies Ltd.
Girish Mathrubootham, Founder and CEO of Customer Support software provider, Freshdesk is among the most viewed Tech CEO’s, and is followed by Rajan Anandan, Vice President, Google SouthEast Asia and India. Women CEOs too have made an impact with Navita Yadav, Chief Executive Officer ITCL on the third spot and Harmeen Mehta, Global CIO at Bharti Airtel.
The other CEO’s featured on the list include Anthony Thomas, Chief Information Officer, GE Global Growth Organization, Abhinav Lal, Co-Founder and CTO at Practo, and Manu Kumar Jain, India Head, Xiaomi.
Richard Rekhy, Chief Executive Officer, KPMG India is the most viewed LinkedIn profile under the Finance category and the only woman to feature on the list is Pooja Aggarwal, CEO, Ordinosolutions, which is the third most viewed profile.
Shradha Sharma, Founder and CEO, YourStory Media is the most viewed profile under the Internet category, followed by Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder, One97 and Paytm. The list also features Kunal Shah, Founder and CEO, FreeCharge, Sriharsha Majety, CEO and Co-founder, Swiggy, and Manu Agarwal, Founder and CEO, Naaptol.com.
Srikanth Balachandran, Global Chief Human Resources Officer, Airtel is the most viewed profile under the Category Human Resource and the only woman to feature in the list is Anuranjita Kumar, Managing Director, Chief Human Resources Officer, Citi, South Asia. While Simeran Bhasin, Co-Founder, Ragtagger Lifestyle Pvt is the most viewed profile under Marketing and Advertising. Charulata Ravi Kumar, CEO, India Razorfish is the only other woman to feature in this list at the 6th spot.
