Nagaraj Bhargava Joins Synaptris as COO

Nagraj Bhargava, former vice president of marketing at software major SAP India has joined reporting and analytics solutions provider Synaptris as COO.

In his role at Synaptris, Bhargava will be responsible for driving business and revenue growth, strategic customer and market initiatives and go-to-market strategies, according to a statement.

Over a telephonic conversation with CXOtoday.com, Bhargava said, We are looking at India in terms of products and solutions. We want to take Synaptris to the next level, as also increase the number of customers in the country. There was a need to expand the management bandwidth, and therefore, I stepped in.

The company sells two products Intelliprint and Intelliview. The USP of our solutions is that both the products are easy to use. They are meant for non IT users. A person can interact with the reports without the use of the IT organization, and yet take business decisions, said he.

The process of report creation is simple, said Bhargava, Data in any database or applications is made relevant to functional departments; both at the functional as well as at the operational level. Our products have correctors, based on kind of requirement on how the user would like to visualize data, these reports are produced.

The reports are normally produced by the IT team with the company, or by the partners. The reports are presented in various formats such as graph/dashboard/spreadsheet with drill down capabilities.

While the products have gained traction worldwide, in India, the company also has signed up a few customers such as Aarogyasri Healthcare Scheme (Govt. of AP), Amrutanjan, Asian Development Bank, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Tamil Nadu Water Board, Tata Consultancy Services, TNS India, Tulip IT, TVS, Value Added Tax Information System with the government of Madhya Pradesh, Voltas Limited among others.

Bhargava said that India is a significant market for reporting and analytics. We will develop a significant sales team, and are also looking at striking partnerships with joint go-to-market strategies.

The company will continue to focus on the government, PSUs, consumer products and retail, professional service providers in IT/ITES sector, manufacturing verticals in the country.
