Netmagic develops cloud computing platform along with VMware and Cisco

cloud infrastructureNetmagic Solutions, managed IT hosting services provider, today announced release of cloud computing platform developed along with VMware (NYSE:VMW) and Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO), which is meant to leverage VMware vSphere and Cisco’s Unified Computing System (UCS) to provide a robust cloud solution for enterprises and service providers.

“Netmagic’s collaboration with VMware and Cisco has helped create a global, best-in-class Public Cloud (IaaS) platform with unique offerings for both Indian and overseas markets. We intend to further leverage this relationship to tap into enterprise virtualization and the private cloud market,” remarked Sharad Sanghi, MD & CEO, Netmagic Solutions.

Netmagic’s engineering team collaborated with VMware and Cisco to develop Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform that intends to meet global standards and will allow organizations to leverage benefits of using a cloud environment that offers scalability, security and reliable migration.

“Cisco and VMware together offer a truly integrated technology platform that addresses the challenges of infrastructure virtualization and reduces the risk for enterprises planning to move to private clouds. Netmagic stated that it is a VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP) partners in India to develop the orchestration layer on top of the VMware virtualization platform. In addition to enterprises benefiting by leveraging the managed services provided by Netmagic on top of Cisco’s cloud optimized system, service providers can take their offerings to market faster by offering this as a white label solution.
