Ramco Systems signs Multi-Million Dollar Deal With Panasonic
Typically, HR used to be handled by software from the likes of Oracle and SAP. However, with the emergence of low-cost solution providers like Ramco, many companies are switching to cloud-based offerings. Recently, Chennai-based cloud services provider Ramco System has inked a multi-million-dollar deal with Panasonic Group of companies in Malaysia to digitize HR and Payroll operations for its nearly 20,000 employees. The Panasonic deal happens to be one of the biggest win for Ramco in the HR cloud space.
“Ramco System’s award-winning Human Capital Management (HCM) solution will integrate with multiple Enterprise Applications and Finance systems in individual companies for statutory and payroll requirements,” the company said in a statement.
As per the terms of the deal, Panasonic Group of companies in Malaysia will lead the Digital HR transformation initiative with a cloud-hosted Ramco HCM suite covering Core HR, Time & Attendance, Talent Management, Recruitment, Planning & Analytics in addition to Payroll.

“Ramco HCM has been winning in the home territory of legacy ERP providers, thereby proving that companies are keen to leverage HR systems that offer simplicity and technological superiority. We are seeing a growing trend among multinationals wanting to consolidate their multi-country HR operations on a single platform,” said P.R Venketrama Raja, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Ramco Systems.
