SAP awards companies using cloud, mobility, analytics
SAP felicitated 37 Indian enterprises with the SAP ACE Award, a customer-focused award for achieving business excellence through use of technology. The awards were presented at the seventh SAP ACE Award on Thursday. SAP also gave special recognition awards to customers using SAP solutions in an innovative way and customers to highlight their achievements attained with the power of cloud technology.
“Indian companies are increasingly displaying strong competitive streak by creatively using the transformational power of technology that enables business transformation”, said Suprakash Chaudhuri, Managing Director, SAP India & Subcontinent. “ SAP ACE Award recognizes organizations who have consistently adopted technology, learnt, innovated, leveraged to deliver high level innovation and excellence in their areas of expertise, ” he added.
SAP ACE received a total of 171 project nominations across 16 different categories. The SAP Best Run award category for SAP implementation received maximum nominations, followed by Best Run Award in IT and Manufacturing besides others.
As part of the diligent and impartial process, the assessment involved thorough evaluation of front running nominees by an eminent jury. The jury panel included VS Parthasarathy, Group CIO, EVP – Group Mergers & Acquisitions, Finance & Accounts, Member of the Group Executive Board., Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Manish Bahl, VP and Country Manager for Forrester Research India,Venkatesh Natarajan, Special Director (Information Technology) at Ashok Leyland Ltd, Manish Choksi, President - Home Improvement, Supply Chain & IT at Asian Paints Ltd, Prof. M.P. Gupta, Professor - IIT Delhi; Area Chair of Information Systems & also Coordinator-Center for Excellence in E-gov at IIT Delhi; Member of expert committee of Prasar Bharti.
SAP also felicitated implementation partners of various winning projects who play a critical role in successful go-live of projects at customer organizations.
