Vijay Anand Quits Matrimony.com To Join VRCM
Vijay Anand, IT veteran and GM-IT infrastructure at Chennai based Matrimony.com has stepped down and made his next career move with Visionary RCM Infotech (VRCM). Anand has been appointed as VP - IT & Compliance at VRCM at a crucial time when the company is planning to expand and his work involves providing technology vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives in VRCM.
Anand’s proficiency lies in creating strategic business roadmaps with a focus on revenue generation. At VRCM, he will be responsible to look after areas such as IT strategy formulation and execution, managing large IT teams across locations, IS procedure and budgeting, regulatory adherence and governance, network and system security, disaster recovery planning, IS risk assessment and management.
Anand told CXOToday said that healthcare is one of the highest growth sectors across the globe and his priorities in 2018 would be Optimize the IT to gain efficiency, integrate apps, data and processes to improve productivity, add and manage cloud infrastructure to increase agility, and build modern applications for faster processing.
Anand holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering and advanced certifications on information security and has a number of awards and accolades in his kitty. He also served as Secretary of CIO Klub,Chennai Chapter.
VRCM offers medical coding services for risk adjustment, audit of medical records, diagnostic and procedural coding services to hospitals and physicians for filing claims with health plans, and support for revenue cycle management (RCM). Global alternative asset manager The Carlyle Group in Dec 2017 has announced that Carlyle Growth Investments IV, an affiliate of Carlyle Asia Growth Partners V, has acquired a significant majority stake in VRCM.
