Xerox India expands on demand printing and publishing solutions
Xerox India (a part of Xerox Corporation), an enterprise business process and document management solution provider, showcased its ‘On Demand Printing & Publishing’ offerings for the graphic arts community at a roadshow in Kolkata. To strengthen its foothold in the digital graphic arts market, the company showcased its latest Mono Production Machine 4127 and its expanded portfolio of offerings.
Through live demonstrations of its portfolio of color products from office to production range the event created awareness about the benefits of digital printing and educated partners on Xerox products and solutions. Xerox showcased a range of ‘On Demand Printing’ and various other applications on its latest Mono Production 4127 equipment. It demonstrated how digital printers can increase business productivity and explore new revenue opportunities in the graphic arts segment with Xerox DC 700 and DC 252 models.
Kuldeep Malhotra, Associate Director (North & East), Production System Group (PSG), Xerox India said, “On Demand Printing & Publishing is a dramatic trend impacting the printing industry. This trend has been primarily fueled by a desire to market to a specific audience by printing in short runs and at the same time leveraging the impact of color. Yet, designers, printers and discerning customers have always been asked to compromise when it comes to short-run printing. Xerox On Demand Printing & Publishing is done just-in-time, 1:1 and over the Internet.”
Malhotra added that as part of the company’s pan India expansion plan for the year, it is looking to reach out to the graphic arts fraternity in Kolkata. “The growth of the print on demand industry forms the foundation for this new business opportunity,” explained Malhotra.
Xerox also hosted a seminar to highlight how organizations are exploiting the profit potential from digital printing and trends in the areas of variable information printing, digital proofing, digital pre-press, short-run digital color output.
According to the company, the Xerox DocuColor range of Digital Presses is one of its leading and highest selling digital color production presses in India.
